おすすめは、秋の特別拝観。 高台院が、夫秀吉を弔うために、建立。家康の保護も受け、立派な寺院になっている。

Go at 9pm - they light up everything beautifully, and it is pure magic.

有名な障子の奥にシダレ桜が見えるのは開門から16時まで、朝の方が綺麗に見えます

Gorgeous to see on a night walking tour. Learned a lot about the shinto religion and how each shrine is meant to be a prayer spot for very specific domains of life

Many temples in one place. Worth spending whole day exploring it all.

Stunning! You pay a fee of 600 but it really worth it. The garden around the temple is kept to perfection (each stone is meant to be in its location). There is a also a small bamboo section. 🎋❤️

A Zen Garden temple isn’t complete without a bamboo forrest and Kodai-ji Temple does not disappoint. You can find the beautiful bamboo groove as you make your way up the path from the temple pond.
